What Is a Lip Filler Treatment?
A lip filler treatment involves injecting a hyaluronic acid–based gel beneath the skin of the lips and surrounding border. This replenishes lost volume, smooths vertical “smoker’s” lines, defines the lip border and supports structure. Because hyaluronic acid also draws in hydration and stimulates collagen over time, your lips often look and feel more hydrated and plump well beyond the initial session.
